Company logo design decisions are, all too often, subjective. But successful business decisions
are based upon quantitative information. And for good reason. So how can
a management team
make a decision when faced with a choice of design for their new company logo?
An effective Corporate Identity helps management achieve their ambition. And so with BMT we
worked to describe that ambition and then measure design proposals against
these objective criteria. The result is not the whim of a designer but a carefully crafted representation of the company lexicon.
The Strapline too is an expression of the company Mission Statement. The two combine
to create
a unifying but distinctive company logo design that accommodates not only
the group company
but can be applied to the Company Identity for all 28 businesses
in the group.
